MANUFACTURING

GENBA TRANSFORMER TANKS

At our facility, we specialize in the manufacture of flat wall transformer tanks, covering a range of up to 400 kV and including associated components such as covers, protectors, domes, cable boxes (both oil-filled and air-filled), pipe fittings, cooling system collectors, domes, and core clamps. Our dedicated team of skilled and experienced workers ensures the high-quality manufacturing of these products.

We take pride in our commitment to industry standards and hold WPS and WPQR welding certifications. Our welding procedures meet stringent criteria specified in EN 287-1 standards and are implemented by certified welders with extensive experience.

Each product we manufacture is produced in accordance with the precise tolerances specified in ISO 2768-1 standards. Prior to assembly, all tank surfaces and components undergo meticulous sandblasting, reaching levels of SA 2.5 or SA 3 to ensure optimal surface preparation for subsequent processes.

After the sandblasting process, shields can be mounted on the inner tank surfaces according to manufacturing specifications. Our painting process complies with EN ISO 12944 standards, and a rigorous leak test is conducted on welded areas before painting. Surface preparation includes washing with a cleaning thinner, followed by the application of special transformer oil-resistant paint to the inner and leak-proof surfaces. External surfaces are painted using non-air pressure guns to meet corrosion resistance levels according to customer preferences.

Upon request, external surfaces can undergo additional treatments such as galvanization, electroplating (cataphoresis), or zinc spraying before the final painting process.
